MTM Catch Up

We have done a few muffin tin meals in the time I have been on a blogging break.  I thought I would post them up here.

This one must have been around Valentines Day.  The girls love the GoGo squeeZ applesauce. 

This is our "Foods From Around the World" MTM.  Some of them were a stretch, but we covered France(Baguette), Middle East(Tabbouleh), Sweden (Swedish Meatballs), Japan (Sushi), Italy (Caprese Salad), Greece (Apricots).

This was just some miscellaneous different things, including ground cherries, which were one of my most favorite things to have during the summer.  My Grandma always grew them and I was so excited when my Mom gave me four plants this spring!

The girls have been enjoying the cucumbers this summer.  I am also encouraging them to use something other than ketchup for dipping all the time, so I included some marinara for dipping the chicken it.  It was a hit.

 

Catch up

I will write a "well I'm back" post here.

I just needed a break for a minute, because writing this blog was starting to feel like a big chore on top of all of my other chores :) 

My last post was in February, so I guess I will just throw down one picture from each month through now and then we will be allllll caught up.

February: 

We attended the Hot Air Affair in Hudson, Wisconsin.  Unfortunately, the field was too muddy to fly the balloons, but we got to see two balloons inflated, which was fun.

March: 

My mom joined the girls and I for Disney Princess on Ice at the Target Center in Minneapolis.   We had a really fun time!

April: 

The girls on Easter.  Both dressed in vintage, Cora's dress is a dress that my Mom wore when she was a girl. 

May:

Cora's first dance recital, was a crazy long and busy day, but SO much fun and I am so proud of my little dancer.  Next year will be even more fun with both Cora and Elin dancing! 

June:

The cowboys and cowgirls of the PRCA Rodeo braved the mud after a sudden rain shower right before the start of the rodeo in Hammond, Wisconsin.  A very entertaining show!

July:

My first baby turned 4 years old in July.  We had a super fun cowgirl party complete with a bouncy house and a cake shaped like a boot!  We all had a great day, especially the Birthday Girl!

And that brings us to August and currrent!  That wasn't so hard. 

I am happy to be back!
